It houses the PR-1 ring laser, a 3-m vibration isolated optical table, Fourier-transform IR spectrometer and other equipment. Experiments related to investigation of the solid-state ring laser gyro concept are currently the focus of the research being undertaken in the lab. Lab 201 was given a major overhaul in 2007 almost doubling the size.
